Shaman King Flowers: New video reveals exact release date and opening song

A new video has been published on the official YouTube account of the upcoming anime “Shaman King Flowers“, revealing the specific start date and presenting the opening song.

According to the video, the anime will be launched on January 9, 2024. The opening song will be entitled “Turn the World” and will be performed by Nana Mizuki. “Shaman King Flowers” is being directed by Takeshi Furuta (e.g. The Comic Artist and His Assistants, Utano☆Princesama Legend Star) at Studio Bridge. Shoji Yonemura (Shaman King, Parasyte -the maxim-, among others) is responsible for the series composition, while Mayuko Yamamoto contributes the character designs. Yuki Hayashi (Shaman King, Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia and others) is composing the music.

“Shaman King” creator Hiroyuki Takei started the spin-off about Hana in Shueisha’s “Jump X” magazine in 2012 and finished the story in 2014.

Storyline:

Fourteen years after the shaman battle: Hana Asakura, the son of the legendary warrior Yo, is unable to prove his talent as a shaman and therefore leads a depressing life. One day, however, two people appear before him and call themselves the “other Asakura family”! They challenge Hana and Yo. The whole thing is connected to the “Flower of Maize” – a battle between gods! Each god selects a team of shamans consisting of a leader, two advisors and four commanders. Hao chooses Hana as the leader of his own team. Finally he can prove himself! The story of the next generation of shamans begins!
